G. Robb Cooper focuses his practice on education law relating to school districts and other educational entities.
Mr. Cooper represents clients in the areas of employee discipline and dismissal, labor relations and collective bargaining, and student matters. He also deals with construction related contracts and disputes, and general administrative issues.

Mr. Cooper has served as a teacher and administrator. He has a practical understanding of the operation of public and private educational systems and the concerns they face. He is highly responsive to client concerns and develops creative solutions to their legal issues.
Mr. Cooper served as an associate professor at Northern Illinois University College of Education for seventeen years where he taught Educational Law, Collective Bargaining, the Law of Higher Education, and Law for the School Business Official. In addition, he is a frequent speaker to school administrators, school board members, and teachers. Mr. Cooper writes regularly on issues involving law and education.
Mr. Cooper has served as a consultant to the Illinois State Board of Education, the World Bank, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Foundation for Interethnic Relationships in The Hague, various colleges and universities, and numerous school boards.
