G. Robb Cooper joined the firm of Ottosen Britz Kelly Cooper & Gilbert, Ltd. in May, 2000. Mr. Cooper concentrates his practice in the area of education law. In his practice he represents a number of school districts and other educational entities. As a former teacher and administrator, he brings an understanding of educational systems to his role as counsel to the clients he serves.

Mr. Cooper also served as an associate professor at Northern Illinois University College of Education where he taught courses in Educational Law, Collective Bargaining, the Law of Higher Education, and Law for the School Business Official. In addition, Mr. Cooper is a frequent speaker to groups of school administrators, school board members, and teachers both in Illinois and nationally. He writes regularly in the area of law and education. Mr. Cooper has served as a consultant to the Illinois State Board of Education, the World Bank, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Foundation for Interethnic Relationships in The Hague, colleges and universities, and numerous school boards.
